Ahh, Memories. In 1979 I started to work at the JCK Federal Building in Chicago. In those days there was federal funding for the arts. So, for example, A diving board was mounted on the roof of the one story post office on the plaza, Below it, on the plaza itself, was a small swimming pool with a pair of legs sticking out. But my favorite was a huge banner hanging on the north side of the building. It looked like a mess of graffiti on a gray background, but but over it all, in huge scrawling letters was "ENNUI." And so I walked through that portal into the building that would be my workplace for more than 30 years. I had no idea how prophetic that would be. (There were some great moments, though.)
