For today's "thing" I bring you this picture I took. I cut out all the little hearts just for you. Happy Valentine's Day!

Wow - I don't usually get my TAD done until the end of the day, but I needed to clean out my workspace (along with my mind) this morning so I thought I'd go ahead and get this posted now, too.

Well, I’ve been “busy like a bee” all day, but as I’m trying not to become too stressed, I found time (among other things) to paint (with acrylics and permanent markers) some paper hearts I made a few days ago for Valentine’s Day and to make an easy chocker style necklace (on memory wire) featuring crocheted pansies.
Enjoy them!
Just went through my paper stash to see what I had in there and I found this Japanese food zine I picked up in a Japanese market a couple of years ago. I never did use it for the recipes (I mostly just look on the web for that), but I kept it to use the pictures and I just ripped a couple of those pics out and cut some hearts out - I thought it appropriate since I truly do heart food. I have a project in mind and tomorrow is an all day craft in my pajamas day (that is, if I don't sneak out to the fabric store) so these images may have a repeat TAD display. anyway, meanwhile in raw form:

Okay. These TOTALLY took me waaaaaay longer than the time limit, but for some reason I kept wanting to do hearts for Lisa. I started with the awesome Swarovski crystal drops and kept working and reworking wire designs that kept turning into hearts. As a result, the second earring (usually the harder of the pair to do because of the whole trying to replicate thing) was the easier one of the two. Go figure! One looks longer than the other, but that's actually due to the fixture I hooked the earrings on being not completely parallel to the ground.

First of all, I love Tuesdays! They’ve always been my lucky days!
And now let’s get back to the subject:
for the 2-nd day of TAD I made these romantic chandelier earrings
(with "Red Garnet" Czech Crystal Fire Polish Beads, gold plated beads
and Rose Quartz spheres suspended from golden heart & leaves
decorated drops), thinking about someone special who’s (also) mad about
that great song of the Rolling Stones - "Ruby Tuesday":
"She would never say where she came from
Yesterday don't matter if it's gone
While the sun is bright
Or in the darkest night
No one knows
She comes and goes...
Goodbye, Ruby Tuesday
Who could hang a name on you?
When you change with every new day
Still I'm gonna miss you...
Don't question why she needs to be so free
She'll tell you it's the only way to be
She just can't be chained
To a life where nothing's gained
And nothing's lost
At such a cost...
Goodbye, Ruby Tuesday
Who could hang a name on you?
When you change with every new day
Still I'm gonna miss you...
There's no time to lose, I heard her say
Catch your dreams before they slip away
Dying all the time
Lose your dreams
And you will lose your mind.
Ain't life unkind?
Goodbye, Ruby Tuesday
Who could hang a name on you?!?
When you change with every new day
Still I'm gonna miss you...
Goodbye, Ruby Tuesday
Who could hang a name on you?!?
When you change with every new day
Still I'm gonna miss you...”
(Rolling Stones – ”Ruby Tuesday”)
P.S. The last picture is my "Today Photo" : "Ruby Roses"
