thing-a-day 2010

Thing-a-day is a yearly creative sprint where, every year in February, participants commit to creating one new thing a day and post it on a collective blog. 2010 was thing-a-day's fourth edition and the first to run on Posterous. We're gearing up for 2011 so come back mid-January for more updates!

Little House on the Prarie

It was a great day with blue sky, sunshine, and frosty trees glistening in the sun so I went out on an adventure with some fellow intrepid explorers and we happened on some interesting old buildings.

I played around with some photo editing software on my Mac and plan to use this pic in a journal...but just in case i don't get that done today I am counting this picture as my creation for the day.

A Frosty Morning

What a beautiful sight to see the morning sun glow on just two of the trees in my backyard. They shimmered together as if two snow angels were standing there amongst the shady darkness of the others.

Thing a day- Day 13: Views from above

Today I decided to face the unknown and try to use Photoshop. I assembled three photographs I took and played with the filters. Photoshop wasn't as scary or confusing as I thought it would be.
