Day 19: A bunch of wire bird legs

In various shapes and sizes. I only needed one foot+leg, for the hatch-ling I'm making (see Day 18), but then I started experimenting. Feet and legs have bedeviled me something awful so I'm always trying to come up with "the way" I'm going to do them without driving myself half-mad in the process. I might be starting to figure it out.

But the more exciting thing I made today was my first listing for a "Mod Birds" magnet set in my shop on etsy.com (http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=41080879). It took a while to get it together.

day 16: push me pull me elephant photo montage

this is sort of cheating, but after i posted my pink elephant
yesterday, jrmyst pointed out that it looks like an elephant in both
directions. so i added eyes to his butt and baked him, and then put it
all together in photoshop. here's the result:

day 12: piggy skull

my 2nd sculpey project, unbaked and baked (i overcooked it a little
again) versions:

i was trying to make something cute, but with a little more edge,
unlike my usual (cute cute) projects. it will go with my collections
of skulls and piggies.

day 10: this little piggy

i have been wanting to try sculpting with sculpey, this is my first project:

it's made of super sculpey, and it measures about 1"x0.75"x0.75". i
haven't tried to bake it yet but will do that soon, wish me luck!

update: here is the baked version:

i had thought about putting it into a snow globe, but since it's my first sculpey project, i decided to leave it alone. i added it to a collection of piggies that i have...

For today I have some new glasswork.
One goddess figure to display on a stand, one goddess to be worn as a pendant and 4 beads with 5mm holes for silver coring.
These were all made in one sitting, not the best, longest or most productive sitting, but how I ever got the idea that I could make a living from making beads is beyond me. Still - I'm surely going to try. Slow and steady wins the race, right?

Thing-a-day Day 4 - Crochet Sculpture

Here I just crocheted 5 separate hyperbolic roses and then stacked them on top of each other.

My third piece of a thing is this, a small glass torso, now finally and permanently glued to it's foot.
I did not make the torso today, just the glueing part, something I have been postponing forever. It is the first one I have assembled completely, and I can see I have yet again procrastinated on something very worth doing. I am really pleased with this one and I plan on making an absolute forrest of ladies. It would be fabulous :)
This assembly is just short of 12cm, the lady herself is 4,5cm high and 2,5cm wide.
