analog object made of yarn and straws

I've spent many years playing with mathematical animation/visualization software to make shapes like this spin and morph, in all that time, I never built one in real life. This is the first analog one! Inspired by a traditional Scandinavian straw ornaments structure, I'll be making departures from that. Following this path for a while.
